Scholarships & Awards

The Momence Chamber of Commerce is proud to offer multiple scholarship and award programs recognizing leaders and outstanding individuals in our community. Each year, we celebrate individuals through our Citizen of the Year Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, Business Leadership Award, and the Junior Citizen of the Year Award & Scholarship.

Learn about the qualification criteria for each award:

• • Citizen of the Year: Recipient must reside in Momence ad must have contributed to the good of the Momence community over the past year.
  • Lifetime Achievement Award: Recipient must reside in Momence and must have contributed to the good of the Momence community over many years.
  • Business Leadership Award: Recipient must have a business or business affiliation in Momence and must have shown a benefit to the community of Momence over the past year.
  • Junior Citizen of the Year: Recipient must be a Momence High School graduating senior. Recipient must have plans to continue his/her education beyond high school by attending a trade school, junior college, college, or university. Recipient must have performed verifiable volunteer service work which benefited the Momence community. Recipient must have high school principal or counselor sign application verifying satisfactory school performance.
